Dementia Care Matters
As part of best practice in dementia care our staff have undertaken a facilitator course at Stirling University with the programme currently being implemented at our Wyngate home.
What is Adult Day Care
Our adult day care centre provides activities for the elderly operating for 10 – 12 hours per day to provide meals, baths, social/recreational outings, and general supervision whilst allowing the carer to have a few spare hours of their own. Please phone for special rates.
Respite Care for the Elderly
Respite care is any sort of help and support that enables a person to take a break from the responsibility of caring for somebody else. We provide both residential and emergency respite services. Emergency respite care is where care is provided when someone cannot fulfil their caring responsibilities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness. Our home is fully catered to provide respite by the sea, providing an ideal opportunity for respite care holidays for the elderly and their carers.
